CIBC on Bay Street, Toronto

This is the 3rd of our 5-part series highlighting Toronto’s 5 Big Banks. Today, we’re at CIBC’s two towers at 81 Bay Street.

The first tower completed in 2021. The 2nd soon…in 2025. Estimated cost? $2.1 Billion.

Its lobby’s backlit glass artwork honours our northern boreal forest.

Up the escalator to its 4th floor is a diverse and upscale food hall ranging from social spaces and quiet alcoves to cocktail bars and smash burgers in its 35,000 square feet. This includes Dineen Coffee’s sunshine lit area.

CIBC’s public elevated park offers gardens, ice skating in winter and live music in summer.

If you’re lucky enough to have a CIBC employee show you the private 54th floor, you’ll see one of Toronto’s best views.

These new digs definitely kept the public in mind to enjoy this impressive architecture, so be sure to explore CIBC’s new square.
