We headed to Toronto’s Waterfront to finally check out this year’s new Queens Harbour.
A stunning new restaurant with a colourful menu of Mediterranean Asian fusion cuisine.
All Under The Olive Tree
We’re definitely going to be talking about food, but we have to first chat about the ambiance and artistry of the interior. The Queens Room centers around a massive olive tree inside a space featuring earthy tones, lush greenery, floor-to-ceiling windows and, like its menu, the entire venue highlights the Mediterranean-Asian inspired themes, with natural light complementing its waterfront and marina views.
Conversation Starters
Images inspire conversations and lend rich colours. Every space seems to take the opportunity to entertain the eyes. Their intimate seating and private dining rooms are cushioned with soft touches. With so many cozy spots, it’s quite an accomplishment to create this warm atmosphere inside a large, 23,000 square foot space. all under Canada’s largest retractable roof. Its open kitchen with sushi bar boasts a friendly energy around its main focus: its patrons.
Plate Presentations as Artful as the Decor
The foods flavour fusions are as impressive as the presentation themselves.
Roasted carrots, whipped feta with crushed pecans, pomegranate molasses and mint…charred baby gem caesar salad, Picanha sirloin and their spicy tuna rolls and raw bar choices… almost too pretty to eat
Queens Harbour is situated inside the Simcoe Slip which is home to the Simcoe wavedeck, Amsterdam bridge and the Amsterdam Brewhouse. Their Address? 245 Queens Quay West in the heart of our downtown core.
