Prince St. Pizza is fast becoming one of Toronto’s best take-out joints for ‘Za. And we agree.
It’s a Slice of Sicilian
Their Sicilian Style pizza on thick, focaccia-style bread (don’t worry, thin crust lovers…even you have toted praise for this slice!) is winning hearts all over the city. How they make a crust both chewy and crispy…well, we’ll leave it to the pro’s.
Toronto Makes Them International
With 9 locations in the U.S, Toronto is the 10th, making it their first international spot.
A New Yorker’s Slice
The first Prince St. Pizza opened in 2012 and is located on, you guessed it, Prince Street in lower Manhattan. It quickly grew a dedicated following, including A listers and pizza connaisseurs. Other locations in California, Chicago and Florida soon followed.
Toronto’s location opened in October of 2023 with lines out the door. Now comfortably settled into their home at The Well on Front St. West, the wait time isn’t as bad.
What’s So Great About it?
Cup-and-Char Pepperoni
Those little pepperonis curl up into little cups that harbour herb-infused oils and flavours, making each bite count.
Sauces
Fra Diavolo, Housemade Marina and Spicy Vodka Sauce kick the square-sliced pizzas over the top.
Our Favourites?
Definitely the Naughty Pie (with honey) and the Meat Lovers keep hitting the mark. Two slices per person goes a long way. These suckers are filling!
Who is Behind Prince St. Pizza?
Frank and Dominic Morano co-founded it, with long-rooted recipes dating back generations within the Morano family.
