Iridescent Bubbles Take Over Toronto

-

If you’ve taken a stroll in the downtown core this summer, you may have noticed massive bubble displays scattered throughout the city.

Known as Evanescent and created by artist Atelier Sisu, these playful pieces of artwork are more than just a fun display as they are part of Toronto’s 2024 Illuminato Festival.

Taking place in David Pecaut Square on King Street, this festival runs from June 7th to June 16th. Best part? It is completely free.

It offers live music, performances, interactive workshops and more. What’s even cooler is that after this festival finishes, these Instagrammable installations are moving from David Pecaut Square and Bay-Adelaide Centre over to Brookfield Place and First Canadian Place.

Don’t miss your chance to snap a photo with these things before they’re gone! As a tip: It’s worth visiting these installations at night to see their amazing colours come to life.
