Cargo Ships in our Port

-

The marine cargo operation in our city’s Port Lands are a constant source of vital energy inside our harbour. They contribute roughly $375 million to our province’s economy.

It’s also an impressive sight to watch these massive structures travel our waters. We can allow as large as 740 long and 78 meter wide ships.

The Port of Toronto Authority does its job to protect what industrial vessels enter, keeping our urban landscape safe. They also ensure no introduction of foreign marine life into our waterways.

Thanks to all the hard workers at the Port of Toronto!
