Sonic Boom: Can This Vinyl Shop Be Any Groovier?

-

Calling all Vinyl Heads and Audiophiles!

Toronto’s (and Canada’s!) largest (and arguably most iconic) record store, Sonic Boom, offers a vast selection of records and musical merchandise.

Something Seem Familiar?

You might have seen the store’s cameo in the 2010 action/comedy Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Check them out on the corner of Spadina Street and Sullivan Avenue

The Room

Customers are transported into a vibrant and eclectic space draped with record memorabilia that transports any music lover into their favourite era or genre.

Not only an oasis for Toronto’s musical community, the less artistically-inclined can easily spend an afternoon exploring the immersive space and its trendy finds from Motorhead action figures to Star Wars socks.

Flip Through the Vinyl

Vintage musical mediums never went out of style at Sonic Boom. They’ve been buying and selling new and used vinyls, tapes and CDs since 2001! You may want to flip through your old milk cartons and resell some of your own.

Swing by Sonic Boom Records 364 days of the year, from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
