The Interactive and Enchanting Cavalcade of Lights

-

Nathan Phillips Square is already a highlight in our city with the popular Toronto sign, Indigineous Spirit Garden and City Hall itself.

Up until January 7th, 2025, the Cavalcade of Lights festival transforms our 12-acre square into a Winter Wonderland with lots of activities, entertainment and interactive displays.

SKATING

The summer’s reflecting pond becomes a picturesque winter skating surface under the Freedom Arches until 10:00pm every night. Thanks to Desjardins Financial Group, skate rentals are free on Saturdays from 7:00pm – 10:00pm

With the twinkling lights of towering buildings overhead, this spot provides an amazing backdrop for photos.
