Catch Some Waves
If you haven’t ridden the new East-West Water Shuttle yet, here is everything you need to know. This brilliant summer pilot tracks a scenic 4km along our waterfront from June through Labour Day. Running daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., vessels depart every 15 to 30 minutes. Standard tickets are $15, but World Cup match days drop fares to a sweet $5.00!
3 Stops. Epic Views.
The route links three key waterfront locations, starting at the Port Lands’ new Ookwemin Minising dock (242 Cherry Street) inside Biidaasige Park. From there, boats glide through the Polson Slip, call periodically at the Yonge Street Slip, and finish at the Portland Slip at Bathurst Quay.
All Wheels Welcome.
The vessels are fully equipped for a seamless commute, welcoming both strollers and bicycles on board. For passengers disembarking at the Bathurst Quay terminal, local gems like Ireland Park, the Music Gardens, and Bathurst Quay Commons are worth exploring.
