#1: Toronto is Not a 24-Hour City

Union Station Closes at 12:45am. The last UP Express to Pearson from Union is at 1:00am and most Subway Trains and Streetcars also stop running at 1:00am. However, we have Uber around the clock.

#2: It’s Walkable, Until It’s Not

Our Downtown Core is very accessible…only a 45-minute walk will take you through most popular attractions like the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium, Kensington Market and Rogers Centre, but Toronto itself is vast and can take, for example, up to an hour to walk from Kensington Market to the Distillery District. Driving is still not the greatest way to get around, so grabbing a streetcar or subway train is best (and city bicycles along cycling paths if weather permits!).

#3: We are a World-Renowned Multicultural Foodie Paradise!

Toronto offers a rich, diverse culinary experience so be sure to sample foods from all over the world while here. Chefs from all over the world give props to Toronto for its diversity and eclectic menus from every corner of the earth.

#4: You’ll Want to Hit the Islands for Those Skyline and CN Tower Pics

Some of the best views of the skyline and CN Tower are not from the city or CN Tower themselves, but from the Toronto Islands, so hop on a ferry and snap some memorable pics. A water taxi is also a great option to get to and from the islands.
