Toronto’s Waterfront Festival is back from June 28th to 29th at Sugar Beach.

So…What’s Impressive About These Ships?

Toronto Harbour is welcoming a fleet of Tall Ships with impressive masts and sails. These vessels also come steeped in nautical history. Don’t miss the chance to be on deck of these iconic vessels approaching our harbour:

  • Empire Sandy: Canada’s Largest Tall Ship
  • SV Fair Jeanne: Has sailed 150,000 nautical miles
  • Lettie G. Howard: One of the last surviving 19th-century fishing schooners
  • Liberty Clipper: Named after John Hancock’s tea-smuggling ship
  • Pride of Baltimore II: Has visited over 200 ports in 40 countries.
  • TS Playfair: Docking at Harbourfront Centre June 27th and 28th

And the Festival Itself?

Toronto Waterfront Festival is presented by Redpath and has a lot of action happening along Toronto’s eastern channel:

  • Tour the decks of the ships
  • Sail aboard Empire Sandy, including a sunset sail each evening
  • Live entertainment on the George Brown Stage
  • Roaming stilt walkers and jugglers
  • Local food vendors
  • On-land activations from our ‘seafaring’ finest such as the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Coast Guard

I’m in! Where Do I go?

Hit Sugar Beach for most of the action at 11 Dockside Drive, Toronto.
