What’s going on with our famous Flat Iron Building?
Toronto’s Gooderham building is the oldest Flat Iron Building in the world. Yes! Older than New York City’s! It was built in 1892 for a whopping $18,000… the most expensive office building in toronto at the time.
…and right now it’s undergoing cosmetic renovations
The bricks are being cleaned, repointed, repaired and if needed replaced. The last repair happened back in 2011.
