Hoverlink Ontario has big plans to operate a 180 passenger Hovercraft from Toronto’s Waterfront all the way to Niagara Falls. And they claim they’ll get us there in just 30 minutes. That’s 1/2 the time compared to driving!
Gearing up to launch for late 2025, The Hovercraft glides on a cushion of air, is powered by 3 low-emission engines and quieter than a train arriving at Union.
Their terminal is planned for Ontario Place with free shuttle buses included in the estimated fare of $30.
Hoverlink plans to run 48 trips per day which will lead to 3 million passengers a year.
