DJs, Food Trucks and dance parties.
Once an overlooked concrete jungle where pedestrians would smartly walk the long way around, the underpasses of our Gardiner Expressway are being transformed into parks, dance stages, art exhibits and family events.
Enter The Bentway
The Bentway Staging grounds have transformed the city’s under-utilized, darkened pathways near Dan Leckie Way and given life back to those who want to dance, explore, interact and appreciate the arts.
Through the non-profit Bentway Conservancy and the City of Toronto, much is planned for spring and into the summer. Almost all events are free.
Here’s the Line Up for the Spring / Summer Season:
- Sand Flight

May 23rd to October 5th: Free art exhibition. Features large-scale installations - Sun/Shade Opening Night Party $20 (click here for tickets)
May 23rd, 7–11pm: Fashion show and celebration with Jada Shada Hudson, DJs, Dancing, Food Trucks. Alcohol will be served - Moving Forest
