Ontario’s Great Lakes Waterfront Trail is a significant legacy project that hugs the shores of all 5 of our Great Lakes and Toronto is host to a 50km section of this amazing 3,600km provincial route.
So We Are Breaking This Section Into Bite-Sized Pieces
my-toronto will be showcasing just some of these hiking and cycling trails and today we are going to highlight a 1.5km portion that takes us over Mimico Creek.
Starting at The Humber Bay Bridge
We’ll be starting from the Humber Bay Arch Bridge and heading west into this section that carries us over parks, bridgeways, lookouts and marinas. This is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride.
If You’ve Got 10 Hours
If you’re looking to hike the entire Toronto portion of the Great Lakes waterfront Trail, that would take over 10 hours on foot or approximately 3 hours on a bike.
