Toronto is consistently named the #1 “ Best place to live and work as a moviemaker” by LA’s Moviemaker Magazine for 2 years running. Other Canadian cities to hit the top 25? Calgary at #4 and Vancouver at #6.
Hollywood North is a Thing
In 2025 alone, we hosted so many shows and films including: The Boys, Brilliant Minds, Interview With the Vampire, The Testaments, Reacher, Star Trek, Frankenstein, Blood Lines, Dinner With Friends, and oh my gosh so many more. Obviously, the film industry brings big bucks to Toronto; an annual spend of $2.6 billion and supports a workforce of 40,000 people.
