U of T Campus: Not Just For Students

-

With our city’s slogan being “a city within a park”, the University of Toronto’s greenspaces play a large role by networking through our urban life.

WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT U OF T?

This school ranks 1st in Canada and 21st in the world.

St. George campus alone covers 180 acres of our city. With its historical architecture, interlocking courtyards and manicured grounds, it’s worth the 20 minute stroll.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPLORE?

Philosopher’s Walk

Bordered by the impressive ROM, RCM and Trinity College, this path follows old Taddle Creek, a waterway that ran here before being buried in the late 1900s.

King’s Circle

This ceremonial, central hub is surrounded by architecture dating back to 1856. New renovations include Canada’s largest urban geothermal field, reducing greenhouse emissions by 15,000 metric tons a year [insert applause here!].

Back Campus Fields

Varsity Blues Field Hockey team (ranked 2nd in Ontario) calls this home, which competes at the intercollegiate level. You’ll also see gaggles of Torontonians using this space for soccer, ultimate frisbee and lacrosse.
