Cobblestone streets. Food stands. Craft breweries. The Distillery District is like a slice of Old Montreal right here in Toronto. It’s one of the city’s coolest and oldest neighbourhoods.
Once a whiskey distillery, it’s now a new-age hangout ideal for movie shoots. So, from June 27th to July 21st, it’s only fitting that it’s hosting an open-air celebration with concerts and movies under the stars.
Thanks to the Italian Contemporary Film Festival (ICFF), Lavazza Inclucity Festival is mixing literature, film and art into a massive summer celebration. For music lovers, there’s a free concert series called Sounds of Toronto every day from 2-6 pm. With tons of outdoor seating and inflatable couches, it’s the perfect summer hangout.
Sounds of Toronto is totally free, but you’ll need tickets for the movie screenings. And don’t worry about the weather – there are indoor screenings just in case!
