Whether you’re a fan of the arts or simply someone looking to explore Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is a stunning building that houses truly impressive pieces of art.
Best part for those 25 and under? Membership is free, thanks to support from the BMO financial group.
AGO’s 583,000 square foot structure is a work of art in itself; a massive facility with an impressively large wooden spiral staircase housing over 120,000 works of art. European masterpieces, contemporary pieces, rare books and photography, the AGO has something to offer everyone.
It houses a Bistro as well as an Espresso bar for those looking to have a peaceful break.
If you’re over 25, you’re still in luck – admission is free on the first Wednesday of every month. For more information, visit AGO’s visitor information page.
