Ever wonder why the CN Tower showcases certain light imagery every night? Well, every one of those 16.7 million colours displayed on our city’s 1,815 foot tower stands for something.
This summer, the CN Tower is honouring many organizations through its light shows such as St. John’s Ambulance, the Tim Horton’s Foundation, Toronto Pride and SickKids. It is best seen about 30 minutes after sunset when the sky is fully dark.
With its intelligent LED lighting system, the CN Tower also celebrates milestones such as the first day of summer, Canada Day and even the anniversary of the tower itself on June 26th.
With its 2 million visitors each year, no wonder the CN Tower is one of the world’s busiest attractions.
Visit the CN Tower’s lighting schedule to stay updated on lighting events, submit lighting requests, or view a live feed of the tower.
